Faithful Mama Rising I Overwhelm, Mindset, Marriage, Faith, Identity
Do you ever find yourself wondering, “What am I even doing with my life?”
Do you put yourself in “time-out” just to catch a breath?
Do you ever feel like you belong to everyone else—your husband, your kids, the chores, the commitments—and somewhere along the way, you stopped belonging to yourself?
Well Mama, you are in the right place.
Faithful Mama Rising is a faith-filled podcast for overwhelmed moms who are tired of living in survival mode and ready for calmer days, better rhythms, and fewer meltdowns—yours and theirs.
This is where you’ll start feeling seen, supported, and grounded again… where you finally finish that book you started, make space for the devotional you keep meaning to open, and build routines you can actually stick to—without pressure or perfection.
I’m Mitch—girl mama of two, wife to my hunk-o-hunk of lovin’ husband, Andrew, and a former Mom-ster who once lived knee-deep in overwhelm, resentment, and loneliness.
For years, I believed the right checklist or perfect schedule would magically fix everything. But no amount of planning stopped the Mom-ster from returning—and it definitely didn’t help me feel supported or seen.
Everything changed when I shifted my thinking, got honest about what wasn’t working, and finally asked God what He actually had for me.
Through simple mindset shifts, faith-centered conversations, and practical tools, I learned how to release the pressure of the endless to-do list, ask for help, reconnect with myself, and—get this—be playful again. My lips literally remembered how to smile.
And now? I’m here to walk this journey with you.
If you’re ready to stop chasing quick fixes that only last three days, reclaim the woman God created you to be, and rise out of feeling stuck and into a life of grace, support, and purpose—these are the conversations for you.
So fold the laundry—or don’t (honestly, it’s clean, that’s what matters)—and let’s get our change on.

Come As You Are featuring Trisha & Chris
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
This month, we’re switching things up and kicking back with a fun, laid-back episode of "Come As You Are!" Not only do we have my good friend and fellow mama, Trisha, joining us, but her husband Chris also jumped in for some extra fun! I always love hearing both sides of the story, don't you?
In This Episode:
Join us as we chat with Trisha and Chris, busy working parents to their eleven-year-old daughter, Lucy. Between juggling their jobs, navigating their daughter’s sports schedule, and finding quality time together, these two definitely have their hands full.
Some of the fun things we hit up are:
The Husband and Wife Card: My absolute favorite takeaway from this episode! Trisha and Chris share a unique and fun strategy they use to hit pause and take a breather when things start to get a little tense. It’s called the “Husband and Wife Card,” and I might just be stealing this idea for myself! Make sure to listen all the way to the end to find out exactly how they make it work.
Fun Rapid-Fire Questions: And of course, no episode would be complete without some quick-fire questions to wrap things up! Expect lots of laughs as Trisha and Chris tackle these on-the-spot challenges.
So, whether you’re a busy parent looking for relatable stories, in need of practical tips for maintaining harmony at home, or just love hearing from real-life couples about how they make it all work, this episode has something for you. Plus, you’ll get a fresh perspective on balancing marriage and parenting in the midst of all the chaos life throws at us.
So grab your favorite drink, get comfy, and join us for some fun, candid conversation. Hit play now and come as you are!
