Faithful Mama Rising -Overwhelmed, Mindset, Marriage, Faith, Identity
Do you ever find yourself wondering, “What am I even doing with my life?”
Do you put yourself in “time-out” just to catch a breath?
Do you ever feel like you belong to everyone else—your husband, your kids, the chores, the commitments—and somewhere along the way, you stopped belonging to yourself?
Well Mama, you are in the right place.
Faithful Mama Rising is a faith-filled podcast for overwhelmed moms who are tired of living in survival mode and ready for calmer days, better rhythms, and fewer meltdowns—yours and theirs.
This is where you’ll start feeling seen, supported, and grounded again… where you finally finish that book you started, make space for the devotional you keep meaning to open, and build routines you can actually stick to—without pressure or perfection.
I’m Mitch—girl mama of two, wife to my hunk-o-hunk of lovin’ husband, Andrew, and a former Mom-ster who once lived knee-deep in overwhelm, resentment, and loneliness.
For years, I believed the right checklist or perfect schedule would magically fix everything. But no amount of planning stopped the Mom-ster from returning—and it definitely didn’t help me feel supported or seen.
Everything changed when I shifted my thinking, got honest about what wasn’t working, and finally asked God what He actually had for me.
Through simple mindset shifts, faith-centered conversations, and practical tools, I learned how to release the pressure of the endless to-do list, ask for help, reconnect with myself, and—get this—be playful again. My lips literally remembered how to smile.
And now? I’m here to walk this journey with you.
If you’re ready to stop chasing quick fixes that only last three days, reclaim the woman God created you to be, and rise out of feeling stuck and into a life of grace, support, and purpose—these are the conversations for you.
So fold the laundry—or don’t (honestly, it’s clean, that’s what matters)—and let’s get our change on.

The Forgiveness Journey
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Forgiveness isn’t just about others—it’s a key to freeing yourself, especially when guilt turns into shame. In this episode, I share my experiences with self-forgiveness, breaking the cycle of mom guilt, and letting go of resentment toward others to live more fully.
Key Topics:
- Self-Forgiveness: Why it’s hard and how to align with your values to move forward.
- Mom Guilt: A 3-step process—Apologize, Recognize, Strategize—to address mistakes and parent with intention.
- Forgiving Others: How letting go of bitterness benefits your well-being.
Takeaway Question:
What if you lived as the person you want to be instead of the person you think you’re stuck being?
